Mixed Over 60 Inter County Championship vs. Essex Match Report
Suffolk travelled to Braintree yesterday 14th July to play Essex in this National mixed competition. Having overcome Norfolk in the previous round, great expectations were circulating and Suffolk did not disappoint. After 5 ends Suffolk were 10 shots to the good. Hadleigh Cup Final Report
On a warm but breezy Saturday afternoon, FSBC & Brantham faced Lowestoft Railway in the 2026 Hadleigh Cup Final. After a highly competitive match, FSBC/Brantham emerged as deserving winners with a 66–33 victory. A big thank you to Hadleigh BC for their excellent hospitality, the buffet afterwards, and the fantastic preparation of the green. Ken Grayburn Funeral Details
As many of you may know, Ken Grayburn sadly passed away on 23 June, aged 78, following a short illness. Ken’s immense contribution to the Margaret Catchpole Bowls Club has been described as legendary by his fellow members. He will be sorely missed. His funeral will be on Friday, 24 July, 10.30am, at Seven Hills Crematorium, followed by the wake at Ipswich & District Indoor Bowling Club, 136 Rushmere Rd, Ipswich.

Middleton Cup vs. Norfolk Team Selection
I am pleased to announce the team to play Norfolk in the Middleton Cup match at County Arts on Saturday 11th July, commencing at 11.00am.
